It was an honour to be selected as a finalist in this year’s Mosman Art Prize, one of Australia’s oldest and most coveted visual arts awards.
I don’t really enjoy crowds and openings, but I’m so glad I made a quick trip up to Sydney to attend this one. Loved seeing the exhibition and also made a visit to the Art Gallery of NSW to view the Archibald and Wynne prize shows, a truly inspiring day!
The 2015 Mosman Art Prize is showing 25 July to 30 August, at the Mosman Art Gallery in Sydney, NSW. My painting ‘Confessions of a Guilty Priest’ depicts the reluctant and shady truth as revealed by the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse.
