Steve Salo_Cheviot Beach 450Over the last two years I’ve painted about 30 landscapes inspired by the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria. A selection of these works will be exhibited on the Curved Wall Gallery at Frankston Arts Centre (FAC) from 15 August to 5 October. Getting your work seen is half the battle for an artist and I’m thrilled that thousands of visitors to the Arts Centre will be able to experience these paintings.

Steve Salo, ‘Cheviot Beach’, oil on canvas, 50 x 50 cm. SOLD
This is the beach where Australian Prime Minister Harold Holt disappeared from the face of the earth in 1967, a wild, unspoilt place that is both exhilarating and foreboding.
